May festivals you don’t want to miss

I don’t have to tell anyone, Covid-19 is a huge thing around the world right now, unless you’ve been living under a rock. I bet I am not the only person, who’s spirit was kind of crushed by the recent event. And as much as I can look in the mirror and say “stay positive” for the billionth time, living alone and being separated from my family, living in a different country, can alter your set of mind quite badly. Don’t worry, I’m hanging in here, just being wee bit melodramatic.

Anyways, let’s talk about music festivals, since everything is moved to next year and gigs we all are waiting for, scheduled for later this year, have still 50/50 shot on actually going ahead. Also, since Summer is definitely cancelled this year, you can sit back, relax (grab that pizza, you know you want it) and enjoy intimate gigs from the convenience of your livingroom/bedroom/bed/tub/wherever you like.

320 Festival

8-10 May 2020

This weekend you can join an amazing event revolving around mental health, created to bring awarness to the importance of mental health and to provide resources for anyone, who needs help. Live performances include artists like Badflower, Echosmith, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Lindsey Stirling, but it’s not all. You can join educational sessions and learn, grow and support others in this difficult time. 100% of net proceeds will be donated to nonprofit partners of 320 Festival.

Five4Five Fest

15-16 May 2020

This one hits close to home, as the brave NHS stuff here in the UK are fighting daily to stop the spread and help as many people as possible to recover from the virus. And as much as we can clap for them every Thursday to show our appreciation, there’s something else we can do.

Five4Five is supporting NHS Charities with just a fiver you can donate during the festival. The rules are simple, 10 bands, 2 days, merch store available on the days of the shows. Two amazing bands, Enter Shikari and Don Broco, are headlining. So spread the word!
