Ed Sheeran – “Galway Girl”

Ed Sheeran’s new video for “Galway Girl” was released today and it’s worth every second of it. Not only is the song catchy, but the video is adorably funny.

The video starts from Ed coming out of the stage, with a change of perspective we watch the story with Ed’s eyes. Sort of. With a tour around bars in lovely Galway, followed by no other than Saoirse Ronan (with a bleached blonde hair and edgy look), drinking and dancing, and trouble making.

While shooting Ed was not only focused on the video, he greeted fans, took selfies and gave autographs. Not to forget, he also got a new tattoo.

“When we were filming it I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying ‘Galway Girl’ from her point of view. “It actually says ‘Galway Grill’. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the piss out of me – full on.”

“Galway Girl” is also starring Tommy Tiernan, Hector Ó hEochagáin and Laurence Kinlan.

Gingerbread Man Records

Scrolling through my timeline later today I saw an unusual update from Ed Sheeran. His introduction to new YouTube Channel is just a little preview of what we can expect from his new adorably named record label Gingerbread Man Records.

Ed Sheeran “Thinking Out Loud”

Today was a busy, stressful day and what do I find when I get home? A brand new, still warm music video for none other that Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking out loud”. This is by far one of my favorites tunes by this young by very talented British Singer. And he did it once again, not only making a great song with deep lyrics, but combining them with a simple, yet beautiful video.

Those of you, who at least once saw Ed’s previous videos, like “Lego House”, “Give me love” or “Sing”, know, that Ed appears in all of them just for some seconds. But not this time, ladies! Yes, you got it all right. In this particular video we can see Ed’s another hidden talent, he’s dancing the modern jazz choreography with a gorgeous brunette. All 4 minutes and 49 seconds. And it’s priceless.

Take a look, I’m definitely going to see it all over again. (And again, and again…)
